Connected: Images with Heart
with Virginia Greuloch
4 WEEK WORKSHOP BEGINS APRIL 20
Whether you are a photographer in business or the family historian, learn to deeply connect to your work, your subjects, your audience, and yourself though an introspective and interactive exploration of the different avenues of connection.
This unique workshop is about discovering who you are as an artist when you peel away everything that holds you back from creating your best work while incorporating the things that truly matter to you. Through exploring your fears, your values, your motivations, and your goals, we will work on building your confidence – allowing you to shoot from the heart while identifying how to share your work and engage with different audiences that will connect with you. You will learn different ways to interact with your subjects using strategies to create beautiful connections and bring your vision to life. And you will explore ways to incorporate different technical, visual, and sensory storytelling elements that allow you to further the narrative in your images. Whether you are a photographer in business or the family historian, this class will help you on your journey to finding your own unique voice.
To get the most out of this workshop, students should be comfortable using their cameras in manual mode and should have a solid understanding of exposure and composition principles.
