If so, this tips & tricks class is perfect for you! During this 4 week online workshop, you will explore and unlock the magic of Photoshop with comprehensive step-by-step PDFs, editing videos, and highly interactive guidance from instructor Mickie DeVries; full participation students will also receive video critiques on assignments in which Mickie tells you not what she loves about your photo, but also shows you some tips specific to your image. These materials are perfect for a beginner all the way through to someone that has been using Photoshop for years and wants to get more out of it.
Photoshop creative cloud software - Photoshop Elements will not work for this class, you must have the full version of Photoshop.

1 pdf + several helper videos that help to jump start our 4 weeks together. Please check the forum for this to be posted 1-2 weeks prior to the class start date.
4 weekly lessons (formatted for print or on screen viewing); sample images are also included to practice with the concepts if you don't have images of your own that work with the concepts taught.
INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENT FEEDBACK & CRITIQUE
Full Participation students receive extensive personal critiques of weekly assignment submissions.
Study Along Students have full viewing access.
50+ videos that correspond to the weekly lessons; Extra videos are quite often added if students are having trouble with certain concepts to further the learning environment.

Post an image where you used a cloning method to strengthen your photo.

Post a before and after of an image where you manipulated the tones of the image. Please let us know what method you used OR Post a before and after image where you corrected a problem area in your image such as neon grass, a color cast, or changed the color of an object in your image.

about your instructor
Mickie DeVries is a hobbyist photographer living in West Michigan. She is the mother of two, and a wife to her husband Luke. Mickie concentrates on capturing her everyday, along with environmental portraits of her two children. The main focus of her artistic intent is centered around capturing children being children. Beyond photography she can be found reading, camping, volunteering at school, and sipping on Diet Coke.
how it works
Full Participation students engage in an interactive online classroom experience that includes instructor-led group discussions and detailed, personalized guidance for the duration of the workshop. Full participation students post their assignments in the workshop and receive critique each week.
Study Along students have access to all materials and are able to view all content and conversation in the main workshop. Study along students will not be able to ask the instructor questions or request instructor feedback on their assignments, but they can follow along with instructor critiques of the Full Participation assignments.
