As a high schooler, I don’t have an abundance of extra time, but I absolutely adore photography and learning the ins and outs of it! When I was introduced to Meg Loek’s photography I instantly fell in love with her style, technique, and talent. Someday I hope to take and edit photos like her. So when this course came up and my dear aunt gifted it to me, I was ecstatic and couldn’t wait to dive in! So thankful!
To hear Meg’s thought process into how she chooses to set up a scene, intentionally use light, compose, and alter color is incredibly valuable to me as a hobbyist photographer. She shares behind the scenes footage of the environment as well as a full edit in Lightroom and Photoshop for each of the 15 beautiful images. There are so many wonderful bits of information (and clever tricks) throughout the videos that I am excited to try; I’m making sure to take notes as I watch so I don’t miss anything! I appreciate Meg’s keen eye for detail and the way she captures childhood. This course is a delight and gives you a glimpse into how she creates photo magic.

Meg is a natural educator and inspiring teacher! I’ve got 2 young kids and dream of capturing memories in the way Meg does. I love all of of Meg’s courses and each one just builds on the last, but not in such a way that you have to take the others as prerequisites. In this workshop, she shares it all from concept of the photo through to the final edit. Put together in one video it truly helps you understand why to shoot the same scene in multiple ways to give you options in your final edit. For example, a secondary shot of her daughter with a balloon allowed her to composite foreground interest. Meg is a master artist from start to finish and this course teaches you so many tools to begin to create your own art. But she does it in such a way, you can apply what you know how to do and increase the beauty of your own photos. You learn so much and apply a bit more each time as you become more comfortable.
I’ve followed Meg & her photography for sometime now and her style has always been my favorite. So obviously when she offered a course, I HAD to jump on board. I haven’t made it very far yet, but since it is self-paced, I can work around my busy schedule. The price was reasonable and I’m so glad she finally offered something like this! Highly recommend!!

I really enjoyed this workshop! Each video thoroughly explains the process behind every image, from the idea to the end result. I think that, even if you already have a great knowledge of Lightroom and Photoshop, you can still learn a lot because sometimes we know how to do things (like adjust white balance for example), but we might not always know why and when we should do them. Meg Loeks really explains her thought process with every action she makes. Of course, it’s easy to see that Meg Loeks as a lot of experience, but it gives us hope that we might be able to produce quality images as well one day. Thank you Meg Loeks for an another incredibly course!

After having a baby, my photography motivation had been at an all time low, but Meg’s course is proving such an inspiration, especially as we head into the gloomier months and prepare to spend more and more time indoors. I picked up my camera today for the first time in 6 weeks! Even after many years of using Lightroom and Photoshop, there are still editing tips and tricks I am picking up here too, some of which have blown me away. I also love the color overlays that Meg shared with us. This course provides hours and hours of educational videos and Meg is providing even more for the live run. I can’t say enough good things about this course and am just so thankful to Meg for finally feeling inspired again!
The thing that strikes me time and again with Meg is that she is so generous with her knowledge and encouragement. I took Finding the Classic Beauty just under a year ago and learned so much, so I knew this course would be a must-have. When she states go behind the scenes… she means it and holds nothing back!! These videos show you everything from set up of the entire scene and pullbacks to walking you through full edits of the images and her magic to make those images absolutely astounding! My Lightroom does not have all of the tools her does so I can’t use most of the LR guidance but even without that — you are still learning such valuable and applicable tools for your own images. This is a course whether a mom who loves to take pictures of her kids to a someone on a professional level! Highly recommend!!
I can’t begin to explain how helpful this course was for me. It gives you step by step instructions on how she creates these beautiful photos from setting up the scene, to editing in lightroom and photoshop. I really found the editing videos helpful, especially because I am not familiar with photoshop at all. I feel like I’ve learned a lot just from watching her process.

I loved this course and it is so interesting to be able to see BTS in such detail and how this translates step by step into the final image. Meg has been very thorough with this course, it includes a lot of content and I’ve learnt so so much. Each video follows the easy to follow structure of showing the final image, BTS video, SOOC and edit walk through all with voice over commentary from Meg. The 15 images are all very different so there are new learnings in each one and all include details on gear, settings, location, set up, time of shoot and narrative about the image. Highly recommend this course.

Behind the scenes is again a masterpiece from Meg! It’s a wealth of information explained in a simple way. I find the extra plus side the behind the scenes footage. A wonderful look into how Meg works behind the scenes. The course shows all types of light and even if you don’t have children, much of the information is applicable to your own work. I always love seeing how her photos come to life during editing. Definitely recommended!
I first saw Meg’s work when I signed up for a Click photo school course in 2018 and really wanted to master the basics. I am always blown away not only by her amazing photos (check out her IG) but by how helpful and approachable she is. Take advantage of any and all content by Meg as you will learn something new every time!
Meg is my inspiration for a long time so I was very happy to buy her course. Each film contain BTS and full edit process (first in Lightroom and second step in Photoshop). The edit workflow is easy but Meg teaches step by step. There is no using any action or preset like in the similar courses from other photographer. I fully recommend this course, it is better than whole Netflix series ;)
Recently, I signed up for two of Megs classes (“Ultimate Guide to Photo Editing” and “Behind The Scenes with Meg”), and I love them! They are just so inspiring and easy to follow and they made me started with Photoshop, finally. I have been thinking about learning Photoshop for several years, but I haven’t known where to start. Looking at Meg’s editing just gave be the courage and inspiration to finally try… and it is fun (and a bit frustrating). Meg’s courses are amazing and for the last two weeks I have actually enjoyed my commute to work (by train) because it gives me time to learn something new from these courses.

Whether or not you take photos of your kids and daily life, everything you learn will apply to any type or style of photography you find yourself doing. One look at her Instagram page will have you begging to know her secrets, and she so generously shares her workflow, with everything from how to come up with a unique shooting idea, to every single step of execution, and finally to editing it in her classic style we all love. Meg’s Behind the Scenes course is so detailed! I love that Meg explains what is happening in the BTS videos, in addition to her thought process throughout the edit. She explains the purpose behind the image, how she shot it, and how she makes the image come to life with her edits. Throughout the editing portion of the video, Meg walks the viewer step by step, explaining how each portion of the LR panel or each layer in PS affects the image.
I love Meg Loeks’ work (who doesn’t?!), but I admit I was a little hesitant in picking up this course because her style is so different from my own. I’m so glad I purchased it, though. I’ve learned so much about her intentionality and picked up so many amazing editing techniques, which are applicable to any genre. So even if you don’t shoot a lot of portraits or styled shoots (Meg is obviously a master of both), there is still plenty to learn here!
Meg is one of my favorite photography instructors. Her in depth tutorials are always packed full and this one is no different. You’ll love going behind the scenes her! Well worth the money!
If you’re like me, you have taken all of Meg’s classes. You might be wondering if this one has anything new. It is worthwhile to invest in this course! Meg is just such an exceptional teacher. I have a few new tricks to bring to my editing, but the BTS videos bring it to a whole other level. I had a family session today and feel it was my best work, because I was so much more aware of HOW I was shooting and taking advantage of the tips that were applicable.
Love this class! I both want to rush through and savor every single detail. And there are tons of details included. Little and big tips and hacks (chocolate pudding instead of mud? Who’dda thunk?). Meg thinks out loud as she explains the reasoning behind every shoot and edit decision. Highly recommend!
I have followed Meg’s work for years on Instagram, and I’m so excited to finally have a chance to learn from her! I couldn’t believe that the course was so reasonably priced for the amount of information. It’s really easy to set up an account and log in, and I love being able to work at your own pace. I’m just starting to get into the content, but as soon as I saw this available I jumped right on it without hesitation because Meg’s work is such an inspiration and I know that I’m going to get so much out of this!

Meg is such an inspirational photographer and I love getting to see how she makes her photographs in this Behind The Scenes course. She not only shows the edits step by step, but shows how she got the shot. I like that I can pause & go back when time allows since the course is at your own pace. I don’t have a lot of Photoshop experience, so being able to rewatch those sections is very helpful. So much great info!

Well I am a newbie newbie newbie, and I found Meg when I started my interest in Photography a couple of years ago, her work was so fun bold and natural that I wanted to take pictures like that. I wanted to be like Meg when I grow up haha I did another course (editing course) where I learn literally PS and LR without prior knowledge and now this new course just takes you to the real life of a photographer like Meg with real pictures, set up, light, colors, editing, real Magic. Meg is awesome in her videos, so clear and so patient to answer our concerns and questions. Thank you so much for teaching in such a lovely way. I want to keep going :).

Meg’s photography is incredible and this course has SO much content! I love how it includes her pre-planning process and why she does what she does because that helps us learn how to take our own jumbled up ideas and make them a reality! This course is a GOLD MINE! Meg holds nothing back. I have been following her for years (I’ve take 4 of her courses) and she is often imitated, but never duplicated. She shows you how to create your own beautiful images that are unique to your style and subjects. You don’t have to live in a rural area surrounded by trees to create beautiful images, you can use what you have where you have it! Thank you Meg for giving me insight into your beautiful images!
I’m only a little ways into this course and already I’ve learned a couple of things that are helping me progress in my editing skills. I am so excited to progress and finish this course! I’m really looking for new ways to be inspired as I’ve found myself in a bit of a funk with photography. Already I’m trying to use some creative thinking and starting to plan a shoot. Like many others I’ve been following Meg’s work for some time. It’s seemed like her work is something out of my reach, but this course already has me feeling confident I can get some good results with a little planning and hopefully find my own style of photography. I’m grateful for this opportunity to take this course.

This course has been such a gift! I love how Meg explains exactly what she’s doing and why as she edits. While watching her edit a scene in a green meadow I followed along, editing one of my own images of my subject surrounded by green foliage, and for the first time I was able to take my greens from neon to her beautiful blue-green! OK – maybe not EXACTLY like Meg’s, ;) but close enough that I was happy with it. She is truly such a gifted artist and many times while watching her edit I’m thinking “Ok, that looks amazing, she’s done now.” but then she adds something else that takes her image to a whole other level. Thanks Meg, for sharing your artistry with us! So grateful.

I had just recently finished running through two other courses with Meg and was thrilled to see that she would be creating this new workshop. I jumped at the chance to purchase the class and am so happy that I did. There is always more to learn in the world of photography and Meg does a fabulous job of teaching. I find myself incredibly inspired while learning from her and my confidence grows with each new lesson. I absolutely love this course and all that is has to offer. I am working my way through it right now and so excited at what’s to come. It’s rich with information, ideas, and just helpful tips that I’m already able to use to elevate my own photography. This BTS workshop is loaded to the nines with all the goodies. I love how Meg is so detail orientated, she doesn’t miss a beat. Having followed Meg on instagram for the longest time when she offered a chance at a behind the scenes look of her work I couldn’t join the course fast enough. Meg is an amazing educator, she is easy to understand and explains her process from A to Z in a manner that gives you the confidence you need to achieve your photography goals. I was really looking forward to learning more about her BTS and she truly doesn’t hold back. Sometimes you have an image in mind you’d like to create but don’t know how to go about it, if that’s you this is the course to take. With so many videos on different types of lighting and set ups you will be inspired to try new things. I can’t recommend this course enough!
This behind the scenes answers ALL of my questions I’ve had when seeing Meg’s instagram posts. I love that she walks through her edit, making suggestions, even giving the shortcut keys to use. I always forget those! I could watch this multiple times (I plan to) and learn something new each time. If you are a momma who wants tips to take better photos of your little ones, or even a pro who wants to learn new techniques, this is your course.
After teaching myself photography and how to shoot via YouTube. I was in a artistic rutt… I was unsure of “my style” of editing. This is my fourth course with Meg and she is truly a visionary in photography. She shares her images from concept and set up, to execution and editing.
