I’m going through all the content in this class, I haven’t gotten through everything yet but I LOVE what I have seen so far!!! I absolutely loved seeing your Location scouting and interaction with the family! Yes location is important, but the relaxed interaction and connection with your client family is priceless! You can tell they had fun, and the next time Mom says they are getting their photos taken I think the kids will be excited, you made them feel special and they’ll have beautiful photos of this time in there life to remember. I don’t have those gorgeous landscape views where I live, but I’m going to take the way you keep movement and fun to my next session. I also watched the editing video and there is so much helpful information that will take my photos to the next level and I can’t wait to get a family in front of my camera! Thank Your for sharing your knowledge Becca!!!

    1. Hi Annette, so glad you’re enjoying the course so far and that the sections on location scouting and interacting with families really resonated with you. As you continue through the course, you’ll find even more tips on how to make any location look epic, even those that might not seem traditionally stunning at first glance. It sounds like you’re ready to bring all this energy and fun into your own sessions, which is fantastic! And I’m glad the editing videos are set to boost your skills even further. Can’t wait to see the beautiful memories you’ll capture with your next family shoot!

  2. From the beginning of the course, it was obvious that Becca poured countless hours into putting together the Epic Family course. It is terrific! She shares wonderful tips, the big one for me was the importance of making sure you have a clear sky before your subjects to ensure proper lighting. As the mom of a tween and teen, I particularly appreciated her behind the scenes of her scouting and photo session with her daughter, Chloe. It was so fun to watch her flow and rewatched with my daughter for some inspo. ;) I’m so glad I signed up for the class!

    1. I’m so glad you enjoyed the course! It means a lot to hear that the effort put into it really comes through. I’m so glad that the tips on sky and lighting were especially useful for you. How fun that you and your daughter were watching it together, I’m sure you both got a laugh out of my daughter saying “I hate this” a million times when I made her walk in the bushes, haha! Thanks for choosing to join the course!!

  3. This course is well structured and helpful for new photographers and established photographers. Becca has gems for everyone in this.

As someone who lives in a very flat and developed part of my city, this is so helpful to me as I have to do a lot of scouting work (no mountains and lakes here!). I also LOVE the outfit guide which is so helpful.

I appreciate the videos and the giant PDF of the course info because I love to read and the visuals are beautiful. Well done, I’m so glad I purchased this course!

    1. Thanks so much for your awesome feedback, Kaycee! I’m really glad to hear the course was helpful for you, especially with the scouting tips for those flatter areas. It’s always exciting to see how the strategies can be applied in different environments. It’s great to know the outfit guide and the combo of videos and the PDF are working out for you too. I appreciate you sharing, and I can’t wait to see all the cool shots you’re going to capture!

  4. This was such a great course! My favorite components are the location scouting and client styling, will definitely be implementing those tips and tricks with my own clients! Becca is a great educator and having the videos to watch alongside the pdfs was so helpful!

  5. This course is everything! Particularly the way Becca explains how location scouting has changed the way I approach my sessions. Enrolling in this course is a no-brainer, whether you’re a new photographer or a seasoned pro who’s looking for a new way of viewing the world through your lens

  6. The course was easy to follow, full of useful tips & guidance & there was something to learn for all skill levels. The videos were a great help & were a real positive addition to all the notes & guidelines. I have done many courses but this was one of the most enjoyable I’ve done. I will refer to it many times while I improve my skills & knowledge to an EPIC level. Becca’s honest, open & helpful personality shone through in all the work she did. I am so thankful for this course & all the time, effort & energy Becca put into it. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in family photography

  7. I was doubting about buying this course. But boy! What a gift !
I didn’t go through everything yet, because it’s a lot. But it’s practical and you will learn so much. What you see is what you get and I’m looking forward to set everything I taught in this course, in practice. Did you even know that you can reach Becca easily. She’s the biggest support!

  8. OOO I love this course! I’m from Holland and is love to see the behind the scenes and all the tips.
Now i want to live there! haha
Thanks voor this course and all the tips. I love the styling for your clients so mutch!
I hope they will love it to in the Netherlands.. the people here are a little bit more abstinent.. but maybe if i have all these dresses and tips they will go for it.
    Thanks a lot Becca!

  9. This course is an absolute goldmine! Even as an experienced photographer, I found immense value in it. Becca did an incredible job of not only reinforcing concepts I already knew but also of illuminating connections I hadn’t quite grasped on my own. Her personal feedback at the end of each assignment was invaluable in this process.

One revelation from the course that really resonated with me was a simple yet game-changing technique: having parents fill their cheeks with air, then asking the kids to pop them. It’s such a small adjustment, but I can already envision how it will enhance the flow of my sessions, especially with young children. Becca’s insight is truly genius!

I’m incredibly inspired by Becca and her teachings, and I wholeheartedly recommend this course to photographers of all levels. It’s guaranteed to enrich your skill set and equip you with new tools for your next shoot.

  10. I haven’t finished the course yet, but just can say: WOW! Thank you so much for that great tipps and tricks Becca. I can’t wait to finish the course and get started with implementing all the learnt things in my business! :) Hope the customer will love it as much as I do.

  12. This class is exactly what I was looking for! Becca has such a good way of teaching that makes it fun and understandable. This is definitely a class a recommend even if you are not doing family photography. This class is packed full of information that will help any portrait session.

    1. Thank you, Kayla! I’m really glad to hear the course was exactly what you were looking for and that you found my teaching style fun and easy to understand. Love that you feel these tips can help in any portrait session, not just family photography. Definitely a lot applies to other sessions, like lighting and location scouting. Thanks for recommending the course and I’m excited to hear how you’ll use what you’ve learned in your own shoots!

  13. I’ve literally been a photographer for 10 years now and I learned from this course. Some brand new material, some new ways of seeing things I already knew and wasn’t applying well, and some of it was just the kick in the rear I needed to do what I already knew I should be doing but wasn’t assertive enough to apply. In short this course is gold and I’m shocked she didn’t charge hundreds for it.

    1. Wow, thanks for such fantastic feedback! Love hearing that even with your ten years of experience, you found new insights and perspectives in the course. It’s great to know it served as a little nudge to apply those skills more assertively too. I really aimed to make this course incredibly valuable so I’m glad you see it as gold! Thanks again for joining the course, and I can’t wait to see how you continue to grow and apply what you’ve learned in your photography!

  14. I am so happy that I discovered Becca’s photography training. I was in awe of her photography and could believe the connection she could create in her sessions. I needed to know the recipe for her beautiful images.
Buying Becca’s latest course I could not believe the amount of information she had shared using a wide range of media. Becca produced some great work books in pdf for easy reference and opportunities for reflection. However what I really loved was the videos. Being a visual person I found these brilliant walkthroughs an amazing resource and a great way of showing how Becca’s steps to a perfect session are put in to practice.

This has really help build my confidence when planning and carrying out sessions. I can’t wait to put everything I have learnt into practice.

    1. I’m so glad to hear you found the course helpful and that you’re enjoying the materials, especially the videos! I also prefer video learning, it’s the best! I love hearing that this course helped boost your confidence for your own sessions, that’s amazing! Thank you for sharing!!

  15. This is not my first course I have taken by Becca and it definitely will not be my last! This specific course was full of everything that I am looking for to help up my game for the families I work with. It has everything from pre session prep guides to final image editing. There is so much information provided in this course and is a true asset to any family photographer.

    1. Thanks so much for sticking with me!! I’m really glad this one gave you the tools you needed to step up your family photography game! I’m excited to be a part of your photography journey and can’t wait to see the amazing work you’ll keep doing with the families you capture.

  16. I had no reservations getting this course. I knew I’d get gold. And I did. It’s worth more than the $50.

Thank you, Becca, for making your knowledge accessible to all of us. You’re a treasure.

      1. This course is a step by step guide through a masterful family photographer’s entire process, and the value is absolutely tremendous. Becca walks you through the importance of color and client wardrobe selection, location scouting/lighting considerations, fun session prompts for genuine family interactions, and editing technique through her beautiful booklet and behind the scenes videos. As a visual learner, I really appreciated the accessibility of the course content. I am so inspired by Becca and excited to walk into my next family sessions with my newly expanded tool belt. Thank you!

  17. I am so grateful to have signed up for this course! Becca is an amazing teacher. The detailed styling guide as well as the section on location scouting (I struggle so much with finding session locations) were enormously helpful for me. I have spent way more money on courses that did not provide nearly as much helpful information or education as Becca’s course. The videos I could watch over and over again to learn from her ideas and thought process. Don’t hesitate to take this course! I am confident that my skills as a photographer have improved and will continue to as I practice the techniques that Becca has provided here.

  18. The Epic Family Photography course is amazing, I highly recommend to photographers at any level in their work. The real life examples from her own photoshoots were so helpful to show exactly how to capture or do what she had explained in the course. It was hands on virtually. There were so many tidbits I have already used in my own work and communications with clients. Everything from email communications to location and wardrobe pairing. The way she has set up the course also makes it incredibly easy to navigate, which was so helpful! I look forward to using the lighting recommendations and trying out a new way of delivering my galleries.

    1. Thank you so much, I love the explanation of it feeling hands-on but virtually. That’s definitely how I wanted it to feel! So glad you loved the email communication examples, thought that would be a unique addition that I’ve never seen before!

  19. This is my second course with Becca, and once again she’s created a winner!
The Epic Family Photography course is PACKED with more information than I even expected. From what to look for in a location, clothing colors and suggestions for clients, editing tips and even a behind the scene video as she photographs a family. Becca ‘s course will leave you feeling inspired to go out and create!

  22. This course is excellent. Becca is a gifted artist, business owner, and teacher. Everything she creates is well worth investing in! The information provided is easy to follow, thorough, and she holds nothing back. I loved all of it, the styling examples were SO helpful for me currently as I’m working on understanding the colors that I personally resonate with in photography. The BTS video during the session was very helpful as well!

  23. Thank you so much for this extremely helpful course, dear Becca! The course is handy, well-structured and your work is so so beautiful. It’s like a great book, I am so much looking forward to seeing what the rest holds, but I don’t want it to be finished love it!

  24. This course was worth every penny and more! Becca brings so much value by covering all aspects of shooting, lighting, and editing in a beautiful, clear, and well-thought-out way that makes so much sense. This course is an absolute winner! Highly recommend.

  25. I loved this course! It really helped me think of things in a new way. I especially loved the examples of how you style your clients. That is not my strong suit so having these examples is SO helpful. The material was full of great information and the videos were so good! I love it when there are different learning materials. Highly recommend!

  26. I’d love to take this and was wondering if you work in Lightroom, Photoshop, or both. I REALLY enjoy learning how other photographers edit! Thanks.

    1. Hi Kimberly! I edit in Lightroom for the most part so the longest editing video is there, but I do show how to bring a photo into photoshop and expand the canvas with AI, and it was a little tricky so you get to see how i navigated that ❤️

  27. I’m glad I had the opportunity to take this class. It covers topics such as what to look for when scouting new locations, how to style clients, behind the scenes at a photo shoot, and editing photos. I especially liked the videos on behind-the-scenes at a photo shoot and editing in Lightroom.

  28. This course was just what I needed to learn how to capture authentic moments with my clients. I LOVED how Becca shows that with the right angles, light, layering, etc, any location can be made EPIC! Thanks Becca! This was a great course!

  29. I’m so glad I took this course. I’ve been following Becca’s work for a while and it was so helpful to get a behind the scenes look at how she preps a location and advises clients on what to wear (so important!) as well as the actual shoot and her thought process with editing. Visually, I loved the graphics on the pdfs. It felt accessible, aesthetically pleasing, and full of good tips for both experienced and beginning photographers. The pieces that were most helpful to me were the color palette ideas and location scouting ideas. This is a course I’ll be coming back to again and again! Thanks for your hard work putting this together!

    1. Thank you so much, Alicia! Can’t wait to see what new locations you use after taking this course. I’ll be following your photography journey and cheering you on!

  30. I really enjoyed this course! Lots of useful information- from styling your clients all the way to editing! She does provide the tools to achieve that EPIC Family Photography! Highly recommend as it was well worth it!
