Structured Class Discussions
Structured class discussions may vary from program to program. Here are the types of discussions you may find in your Click Photo School classroom:
QUESTION & ANSWER
Most workshop instructors set up weekly Q&A to centralize student questions for official instructor response and guided student discussions. Only Full Participation students are able to ask questions and engage in these discussions, while Study Along students have view-only access.
PROMPT-BASED DISCUSSIONS
Some workshop instructors may set up Prompt-Based Discussions as exploratory or introspective exercises during the workshop. Only Full Participation students are able to engage in these discussions, while Study Along students have view-only access.
PICTURE SHARE
Workshop instructors may set up weekly (or daily) Picture Share Discussions for the Full Participation students to share their practice exercises during the week. Only Full Participation students are able to share photos and offer comments or feedback, while Study Along students have view-only access.
OFF TOPIC
Some workshop instructors may set up “Off Topic” Discussions for students to connect and chat more casually during their workshop. Only Full Participation students are able to engage in these discussions, while Study Along students have view-only access.
GROUP ASSIGNMENTS
Workshop instructors will request that Full Participation students submit assignments either as part of a Group Discussion or as Individual Submissions. More information about how to submit your assignment can be found in the next section, and specific guidance for your workshop will be provided by the instructor in the Weekly Assignment step itself.
