Submitting Assignments

Full participation students will submit assignments for personal instructor feedback and critique.

Individual Submissions

If your instructor requests individual assignment submissions, she’ll direct you to submit your workshop assignment as a standalone discussion. Here’s how to submit this type of assignment:

  1. Click “Start a Discussion” in the color block area beneath the instructor’s directions:
  2.  Title your assignment according to the instructor’s requested format. It typically looks something like this: Student Name | Week One Assignment
  3. Input your photo(s) and any written content as required for the assignment.

Your assignment will appear alongside your classmates’ assignments like this.

You can view others’ submissions and read instructor feedback/critique by clicking on the individual assignments to read their content.

Group Submissions

If your instructor requests group assignment submissions, she’ll direct you to submit your workshop assignment as part of a group discussion. Here’s how to submit this type of assignment:

  1. Click “Answer” on the main Discussion block in the step:
  2. Click the “Add Your Answer” field in the Discussion Panel.
  3. Input your photo(s) and any written content as required for the assignment.
  4. Press “Answer” to submit.

Your assignment will appear as a reply in the group Discussion.

You can view others’ submissions and read instructor feedback/critique by scrolling through the Group Assignment Discussion.

Contacting Your Instructor Directly

If you would like to contact your instructor directly, you can do so by going to “Path” or “Community” and hovering your mouse over their avatar.
